1998, Hubert Allen & Associates, paper
148 pages, 3 b/w photos, 10 figures, 1 map, 6 tables, bibliography, index, notes, 5-1/2" x 8"
Self published book about the author's journey of discovery and study of a triangular
shaped petroglyph located in the Sandia Mountains near Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The author hypothesizes and argues that the petroglyph served as a base
for a gnomon used to observe and mark the solstices, and possibly other
times of the year in the calendar of prehistoric puebloan peoples.
